James Kezios

James (Jim) Kezios was born in Greece and immigrated to the United States with his family. A graduate of Southern Illinois University with a degree in Radio and Television, Jim built a career defined by leadership, creativity, and lasting relationships in broadcast and sports media.

He began his broadcasting career at WCIU-TV Chicago and WJJD Radio, followed by an award-winning ten-year tenure at WMAQ-AM. Rising through advertising sales to become General Manager, Jim led the station to consecutive record-breaking years, including becoming the first NBC radio station to bill $1 million in a single month.

During this time, he earned the Wharton School of Business Radio Sales Certification and formed a long-standing professional relationship with Coach Mike Ditka and the Chicago Bears. Jim went on to co-found KOST Broadcast Sales, helping grow the company into a leading independent broadcast marketing organization specializing in the production, sales, and syndication of radio and television programming. Among its earliest and most notable ventures was The Mike Ditka TV Show, followed by extensive partnerships with the Chicago Bears, producing and syndicating programs such as Chicago Bears Weekly, Chicago Bears Insider, the Chicago Bears Luncheon Series, Bears preseason games, and the sports discussion television show Chevrolet SportsFire.

Jim’s greatest professional accomplishment was serving as Co-Founder and President of Pro Football Weekly–TV, now in its 40th season. His career also included a 20-year partnership with the IHSA Basketball Tournament and a long-standing relationship with the Chicago Bulls as the team’s regional television syndicator. A two-time Emmy Award recipient and honoree of the Illinois Broadcasters Association Silver Dome Award, Jim was also recognized by the United Hellenic American Congress in their Salute to Hellenes in the Broadcast Media.
Beyond broadcasting, he is a member of the USTA and the Illinois Harness Horsemen Association and, with longtime partner John Krillies, manages Tripoli Stable, racing harness horses throughout the United States.
Jim and his wife Susan reside in Norridge, Illinois. He is the proud father of two daughters, Melissa (Randy) and Stephanie (Jack), and a devoted grandfather of four.
